Welcome to Our Personal Learning Environment (PLE) Wiki

We were challenged to find a way to improve the opportunity for personalized learning.
We used the challenge-based learning model to come up with a possible solution.
Our group decided to answer the following essential question: What are the indicators of a healthy personal learning environment?
We came up with the following guiding questions:
- What is personalized learning?
- What is a personalized learning environment?
- What does the word "HEALTHY" mean in this context?
- How do you personalize your learning environment?
- How do you manage personalized learning in a group setting?

Our proposed solution is to develop a resource that will help define personal learning environments.
We think there are three basic components of personal learning environments:
Considerations is a list of things that we should keep in mind as we think about setting up our own PLE or helping students begin to build a PLE.

This is simply just the beginning of our thinking. The conversations are hard, and there is no easy solution to setting up a successful personal learning environment, especially when we talk about in the context of helping students build their own personal learning environment.
